And now we come to that part of the program in which you have to participate. Don't hit the back arrow it won't hurt and it could well dare I say even help?? Nah...but where else are you going to find something off the beaten path to get you away from the FACT that it is Monday. So, welcome to the first installment of Monday Morning Challenges. Yes, I just made that up but it will probably stick.
So write this down. You will write a poem today about Mondays. Did you really think I would make it difficult on the very first one? Come on now, I want you to come back here, not to hate me!
Write the poem using any form to wish to including making one up. A few rules:
1) do not use the words; like, I, you, them, and (will force you into being creative)
2) do not repeat nouns, verbs or adjectives (will force it to flow better)
3) do not narrow your imagination (do fiction or non-fiction)
4) do not rewrite it (do it raw without the doubt and second guessing)
5) do not exceed 20 minutes to write it (time can breed boring "rip it and stick it" write it and post it)
Okay so gooooooooooo already. Make a poem! Post it here if it fits or post it on Facebook and put a link here. If you belong to an online poetry community post it there and put a link here. It doesn't matter how you do it just as long as you share the challenge.
Go write and smile....it's only Monday.
