Monday Morning Challenge: My First Time

Good Morning!  Oh and get your head out of the gutter.  This challenge is to prominently use a word that you have never used in a poem (hence "my first time").  Stop scratching your head.  There must be plenty of virgin-to-you words.  I have a whole book full of words I've yet to use.  Surely you can come up with just one?  Of course you can!  Now this time there shall be just a few rules.  The word must be used in the title of the poem and not in the body of it.  Yeah, I can be a little brat that way.  The other rule is it must be a rhyming poem.  Did I just hear you smack your head on the screen?  Okay you can do this.  Have fun it is poetry and well this is called a challenge.

Go write something!

P.S.  again please consider posting it here or post a link to it here.  Thank you!!

  1. The Dysfunctional Poem

Today I had my usual luck
The best and the worst of all
Two of the last of what I wanted
Yet no soothing balm for my fall

He was missing and she was away
My dog appeared in my cat
I tried not to think with my Dunkin D drink
A blunt lonely came out of that

I love to try to not make sense
Sad thing is, this so does
Perhaps that’s why the title works well
Though the poem really sucks straight from…well
